To take advantage of your Fat-Burning potential, what you eat for breakfast is VIP!
Like Public enemy #1.
First of all, to stay in fat burning mode, you need to avoid Carbs (Fruit, oatmeal, breads, granola, cereal) . Cooking in the morning could be a challenge, or grabbing a Protein/fat meal may seem like a challenge in and of itself.
What I recommend is for you to set aside 30mins to make a breakfast dish so you can Grab and Go in the morning.
Also, Make 2 OH CRAP options! so you have a fall back option.
So what should I do for breakfast??
Chia Pudding - this is creamy and savory.
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 tsp liquid stevia extract
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
Blend all ingredients in a blender or with an immersion blender. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours so the chia seeds soak up the moisture.
