100 calories. Low, right? Yet it's tasty and fills the void while changing your eating habits. Sure, it may not be the same as a slice from the pizzeria but, it is healthier and lower in calories (fat and carbs!). The goal of this recipe is to give you a "go to" so you don't undo all of the hard work you are putting in while on your journey to better health (ie. to lose weight, or whatever).
100 Calorie Pizza
Serves: 1
Portions: 1/4 Yellow, 1/2 blue
Ingredients:
1 Slice low cal bread (45 cal, such as Sara Lee)2 Tbsp Pizza sauce (15cal)
2 Tbsp Mozz. Cheese(40 cal)
Garlic and Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 4002. Place bread in your toaster and toast to golden brown
3. With toast, spread on the Pizza sauce, spices and Mozz. cheese
4. Place in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
This is the first recipe in a series that I am going to be providing to you. I hope to provide to you many more lower calorie options that are more nutrient dense than some other options you may have.
