How Many Calories Can You Burn With 22 Minute Hard Corps?

Well, it’s time again for me to start up a new program, and I’m really excited to begin Tony Horton’s 22 Minute Hard Corps! As someone who’s done just about every one of Tony’s program (multiple times, including P90X a bazillion times), and follows pretty much everything he says about health and fitness, it’s only fitting to get on board with his next program!

Now if you don’t know, 22 Minute Hard Corps is a military inspired program designed to get you “boot camp fit”. You can read more about it here. And as it’s name implies, all of the main routines are 22 minutes long. That includes the cool-down. Several shorter programs like Focus T25, P90X3 and Insanity Max 30 didn’t include the cool-down as part of their run time, but this one does. So obviously you’re not going to burn 600 calories in 22 minutes, BUT you will work hard, and you’ll burn a lot of calories per minute for a very efficient workout.

Now you’re calorie burn likely won’t be the same as mine. It’s based on your height, weight, age, gender, level of fitness, level of exertion and more.

For a frame of reference I used Paul, a  5’10”, 170 lbs, 28 year old male with about 14% body fat and a Polar H7 heart rate monitor to track the calories burned.
